BT与线虫组主要以秀丽小杆线虫（C.elegans）为模式生物来揭示苏云金芽胞杆菌及其杀虫活性成分（晶体蛋白、其它毒力因子）在杀线虫过程中所扮演的角色，其中包括传统的Cry5Ba和Cry6Aa在C.elegans里新型受体的找寻，除晶体蛋白以外的各类毒力因子杀虫机制以及现阶段主要研究的线虫在防御Cry5Ba类穿孔毒素（PFTs）和新型的Cry6Aa蛋白时所参与的信号通路等。

Our research group are devoting to study the relationship between Bacillus thuringiensis and Caenorhabditis elegans. We take advantage of C.elegans as a model to get the functional mechanism of the virulence of Bacillus thuringiensis including Cry proteins and other extracellular factors. The subject we are performing can be explain in three major ares. First of all,we try to find the receptor of the typical Cry5Ba and novel Cry6Aa proteins. Second,we are interested in the mechanism of other extracellular factors which could also kill nematode. Last but not least,we pay our attention to the signal transduction involved in the process of Cry protein kill nematode and even insects.
